  • Status in organization:  Chief General Manager, State Bank of India Bengaluru Circle (In-charge of Karnataka Operations) from 1st November 2014 onwards.
  • Background: Rajni Mishra is a career banker with more than 3 decades of experience with State Bank, India’s largest commercial bank. She joined State Bank as a Probationary Officer in the year 1979 and has held various important assignments in diverse geographical locations viz. Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Bangalore.
  • Qualification: Rajni Mishra is a Gold Medallist in M.Com, from the M.S University of Baroda.
  • Experience: She has worked in SBI as well as in two of its Associate Banks viz State Bank of Saurashtra and State Bank of Hyderabad handling varied assignments. She has had a long stint in the area of Corporate Credit heading large Corporate Finance Branches and has aggressively driven the retail business while heading Hyderabad Zone. She held the critical position of Secretary to the Corporate Centre Credit Committee (CCCC) at Corporate Centre, Mumbai. Thereafter she had the distinction of being the first women officer to be posted as Secretary to the Bank’s Central Board. She has been on various internal Promotion Interview Committees as a member as well as a Chairperson. She was also a member of the Selection Committee for hiring Customer Relationship Executives for the Bank for two consecutive years.
  • Personal Details: She is blessed with two sons, Aditya and Rahul who are employed in the IT & Banking Sector respectively. Both sons are married to wonderful girls Tanvi & Tashu, who are pursuing their careers. Her husband Mr. Anil has retired from State Bank Group and is fulfilling his dream of travelling. During her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies and catching up on reading.
